05/23 Ravens: McGahee attends voluntary workouts
The News Source:Fanball
Running back Willis McGahee, who skipped five voluntary minicamps in Buffalo last year, joined his new Raven teammates for the start of their voluntary minicamp. "I'm motivated, I've got to step my game up," McGahee told the Baltimore Sun. "My teammates are expecting a lot of me. I'm going to go out there and dish it out. Hopefully, we can all work together and make that run we want."
Our View
The Ravens plan to open up their offense more than in the past, in large part because McGahee is a more versatile back than Jamal Lewis. Of course, the Bills were installing a new offense last year when McGahee couldn't be bothered to show up; maybe the fat new contract extension the Ravens gave him has something to do with his newfound level of happiness. That or the Baltimore nightlife. Maybe he stopped by Orlando's for a dance.
