OK, taking off for an early weekend to do some camping. Supposed to have a thunderstorm pass through possibly on Saturday, but otherwise should be beautiful.

I don't do the hardcore tent camping anymore now that I have a family. But it is still great to find a nice state park, pitch a tent for a few days, and just get away with the wife and kid.

When I get back, I want to read about all your camping preferences, some stories, or just what everyone is doing to enjoy the Memorial Day weekend. I just don't want to hear any of that wussy RV crap. :-b

Here's hoping I still have 20 digits and both eyebrows when I get back! }:-)

Oh, yeah, and be sure to thank a Vet before the weekend is over. ;-D

No; and I have a beef with the light side faces... the face mask makes them useless. You gotta go with the old school helmets that didn't have the face mask. That would be cool

man i love camping (i.e. weekend of drunken debauchery). still go the tent route every 4th of July but unfortunatley not this year...no one in our group can go (babies, weddings)

might just go on some random weekend.

HAve only one camping story to tel.....Memorial day weekend 2000. A group of 20 or so went to Missouri for some laid back canoing and drinking. Got there at night set up a 3 section tent with no instructions in the dark. Rained all weekend. Met a girl with my suave like moves one night and folled around with her in the tent. Later that night while sleeping, we woke up after a turential down pour in 6 inches of water.

Horrible weekend but made several great stories. Some not able to share here.......
