Well said. That's just pathetic. I always see people that are just fine walking from the parking lot to the Grocery Store, only to jump on one of those things to do their shopping. Pathetic

I've been asked to get off those electric carts when I tried to use them. Told me some garbage that those things are only for handicapped people...

The cake is a lie.

It's like piling on layer after layer of gluttony and laziness. Counterproductive. You're fat
so you have to use a scooter, or you're fat
because you use a scooter?
It's like those couches with built in coolers or those people who will drive around a parking lot for days trying to find a spot close to the door. Or the idiots who will wait for an elevator when they are perfectly capable of using the stairs right next to that elevator.

I'm going to defend the scooter-users a bit. I go to Las Vegas twice a year and have walked the strip many times. Last summer it was 118 degrees and if someone wants to ride a scooter and have a cold one more power to them. I went through 2 16 ounce bottles of water just going from Aladdin to MGM.
I would personally not use one because I like the exercise I get walking (it cancels out some of the garbage I eat out there) but as long as they're not taking the scooter away from a truly handicapped person I have no problem with it.
