It's definately something I try to avoid, but only if the players I'm deciding between are of fairly equal value. I don't like putting all my eggs in one basket (whether it be QB/WR or QB/RB) because one bad outing or one tough D, and you lose out on multiple positions. I always try to diversify when/if possible...

I am with Plindsey. I look for the offense and would rather have the QB/RB combo. I don't go out of my way to do it, but if it happens to fall that way, I'll take it

but QB/WR makes sense...

QB/RB doesn't...

I strongly disagree right here i have several teams where i have leftwich and the Jax RB's..in fact there are several situations where it could benefit....Bulger/Jackson, Brees/Bush, McNabb/Westbrook, Peyton/Addai and also its good in teh sense that u know that ur going to get something from one, the other or both depending on which combo you have of course...for example its not really beneficial to have Jeff Garcia and Cadillac Williams or McNair and McGahee, or Losman and Lynch on the same team because their offenses arent that potent so really it depends on the team and players but in most cases QB/RB is like having the best of both worlds...it also depends on the way you play it out and if your strategy is on point...

Another good example...

Only trouble there is that it is rare for both to be healthy...

I suppose a QB/RB combo covers all the bases of the offence but I generally tend to steer clear of combos because if the team has a bad week then my team suffers because of it. However, I've known guys who deliberately choose guys from the same team or with the same bye week so that they get all of their bye weeks out of the way in one go. This means they have one rubbish week that they expect to lose but remain strong for the rest of the season.

I usually try and avoid a QB/WR combo. For my comfort level, it's a little too risky...to many eggs in one basket. If the QB has a bad game, it doesn't bode well for the receiver.

I've never thought about the QB/RB combo, but given the right high-powered offense, I can see it being very advantageous.

I dont especially like the shoot for taking QB/RB or Qb/WR combos, but if it happens, I'm not going to freak out about it. Its about taking the best players. The only exception would be having 3 guys on the same offense, then it would be a problem.
