ward will be a playmaker no matter where he lines up.

my question would be...is miller fast enough to line up as a WR effectively? i havent seen him run very much so i dont have a clue on his speed. he is a pretty big boy.

Yeah I agree but just the fact that he'll have the chance to get some play at WR should boost his value a bit. :-?

They'll just run drag routes and short in routes. Or even put him in motion after the defense has committed to its coverages...probably similar to what Indy often does with Dallas Clark. I still think this is a lot of smoke and mirrors. The key element in all of this is becoming more unpredictable, especially on first down - not necessarily disrupting the balance they've had between run and pass. The ratios should still be similar, but they'll go about it in a more complex and disguised manner. Still smashmouth, but with sophistication. :-b

I think this is good news for FWP, IMO. The fantasy impact on the passing game I think will be minimal.

Obviously Miller's value goes up if he's lined up as a WR, but I think this helps Ward, as well. He said it himself that he will see fewer double teams lined up in the slot and its hard to guard him one on one. If Ben gets comfortable with the formation, his value should also be boosted.
