THis is my first time and looking for some adive. I am in a 12 team league. We are starting 1 qb, 2rb, 3 wr, 1 te,i kicker, and defense.
Need to keep 2 qb, 3rb, 5 wr 2 te,2 kicker, 2 defense and a floater.

My picks are as follows:

qb CULPEPPER, Jay Fiedler
rb RICKY WILLIAMS, Fred Taylor, CLINTON PORTIS
wr KEYSHAWN JOHNSON, JAMES THRASH, JIMMY SMITH
Donte Stalworth, T. Mathis
TE BYRON CHAMBERLAIN, Eric Johnson
K SEBASTIAN JANIKOWSKI, Jeff Chandler
Def PHIL, New Orleans
floater Dorsey Levens

Questions: How did I do? Do I have the right starters, who should I look at dumping? Dont remember the specifics on the scoring, but looking at last years stats, it favored the qbs slightly.

Qbs look good Rbs look good may need some insurance on Taylor though...WRs are good Thrash will lose some balls this year and Smith may be in for a long hold out. You may want to get another WR in the mix for now stallworh will play this year but not make an impact possibly until week 6 or 7. Sea Bass is good and i like the Philly d.

Your QB's look very solid.Cullpepper has no where to go but up,and Miami's improved offense should help Fiedler's number skyrocket.

Your RB's look good. But could be great if Taylor stays healthy all season.Maybe a better option as your backup could be Stacy Mack, that way if Taylor sits out a game or goes down, then you have a backup who is certain to play. You know what I mean?

Your receiving corps has unbelievable depth. All are quality starters, with Donte Stallworth having the biggest upside. The rest are proven receivers though. If Jimmy Smith ends up sitting the season out or whatever they have been talking about, then I would get rid of him. There's no need for him if he's not going to play.

The rest just looks fine and dandy.Your team overall looks very good!Good job drafting! ;-D

i'd say you did pretty good overall with your draft a few suggestions.
i'd start fred taylor because if you got him use him while you can in case he gets hurt he's still a better back then portis. think about picking up stacey mack for a backup to fill in a starting role if freddy goes down. dont start janikowski he looked absolutely horrible this preseason he was missin 30 some odd FG? good def and QB's may want to look into WR for a bit more depth in case smith doesnt sign.
