Mom Tries To Regain Custody Of Caged Child
POSTED: 8:59 am EDT June 1, 2007
SANFORD, Fla. -- A Sanford mother will go before a judge on Friday to try to regain custody of her children.
Two deliverymen were dropping off a computer at her Pine Avenue home when they said they saw a 3-year-old locked in a cage and animal feces covering the floor of the house, authorities said.
Police checked into the complaint and arrested the mother, who was identified as Dawn Fenner, 40, along with her son, Matthew, 19, and his girlfriend, Casey Morton, on Thursday.
The family said they were trying to control the boy because he has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Child Protective Services took the boy and Fenner's two other children.
A judge said he found no reason to keep the adults in jail.

Absolutely. What other reason would force a rational adult to tolerate Spongebob? 30 minutes of relative peace!
I feel bad putting our puppy in a cage...I can't even fathom putting my daughter in there. Anyone who tried probably would not survive long enough for me to stuff their a** in the cage.
So sick of this crap.

I disagree but I think that Ritalin over a cage is the way to go.
