Seahawks running back Shaun Alexander's left foot is healthy and he's ready for the season to begin. "I think by the time we get to the season I will be in the best shape of my life," Alexander told the Seattle Times. "I'll be faster and stronger than ever and hopefully I'll be able to do some good things for our team to win."

Alexander created news last month when he joked about needing more x-rays on his foot, but it appears that was blown out of context and he will be fine for training camp.

Good news, well at least in the sense that some other sucker in my league will draft him instead of me.

Alexander is going to be one of the most interesting guys to watch come draft time this year. He could be a total stud (1,500 yards, 16+ TDs), or a complete bust (hurt).
