The 49ers continue to add talent to their defensive line. They signed defensive tackle Sam Rayburn, who played for the Eagles last season, to a one-year contract, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Our View
Rayburn is a good fit for the 49ers' 3-4 defense because he takes up space in the middle of the line and usually consumers multiple blockers, which frees up linebackers to rack up the tackles.
