Alexander a sleeper?!

i am probably in the miority on this, but i have SA ranked 3rd coming into the year. i expect him to continue right where he left off and be an eleite back. i know his line isn't as good, but he is a fantastic running back and i don't think that will limit him that much.i'm hoping i get the 5th or 6th pick and alexander falls to me.

There's a decent amount of people who feel the same way about SA, but I personally think pick 5 or 6 is the highest he should go. My main concern is coming into last year, many were concerned SA was going to fall off because of the lost players on the offense. Then he get hurt and now everyone has forgotten the concerns that were there at the start of last year. These concerns are still there and Holmgren himself has said the right side of the line will be an open competition this preseason. Couple this with the fact that SA will be 30 by the start of the season and you can see why some are weary of him.

Now I do think SA has the potential to finish top 5, but with all the question marks, I would rather take a younger guy with the same upside instead of the older SA. LT and SJax should easily go before him. And for me LJ and Gore should also go before him. Then you have the younger guys with upside such as Westy and FWP that I can see the arguments being made for as well.

I've been actually steering away from picking him in the top 6 myself. I know he is saying he's healthy, but
he has to prove to me that the injury is completely gone. I personally believe he is going to continue to be
hampered from it, taking away from his elite status.
