I'd say at least 5-6 drinks depending on your tolerance. Just having a light buzz shouldn't really count on the drunk-o-meter. On the same hand, you don't have to get poopfaced (stumbling all over the place, rambling incoherently, singing karaoke in the nude) to qualify as drunk.

Some nights I've had 10 beers and was barely drunk; while other times 4 or 5 got me all toasted.
