Yahoo changed their default scoring so now qb's td points will be lower. But it also changes rushing points. now runners will get more points than before. with this i believe vick is gonna have a great fantasy year and maybe be the best qb. The same goes for vince young he has a lot more value than before.

Thats with the assumption they will be on the field...Vick may be in legal trouble and VY has the Madden Curse.

i'll disagree here. the scoring system i've used is similar to the new yahoo except mine is 1 pt every 20 yards passing (where yahoo's is 1pt/25) and last year he was number four behind manning,brees and bulger.the chances he puts up 1000 yards rushing again is pretty slim imo and that was about the only reason he was up that high in the first place. while he was pretty close to bulger and brees in scoring he was 73 points from manning. to hit maninng's number he would theoretically need to throw for another 1500 yards or 1000 and about 6 more td's (or some accumulation of the points) while maintaining his 1000 yards rushing.vick has shown me nothing that proves he will be able to do any of those feats except maybe the rushing.

also to add in 05 he was the 10th ranked qb .

more valuable then in the old scoring system? definitely as long as he plays. the best? no way.

I've played in the formats like this for a while and I don't ever remember Mike Vick ever being the #1 QB. Even last year in Yahoo's new settings, he was the #2 QB but still 50 pts behind Manning.

Only way Vick even stands a chance is if your league does take away points for turnovers. Even then, his rushing does not help him enough. Until he learns to throw his offense wont generate enough total yards and total TDs for him to be the top QB because any good defense can focus solely on the run.

It wont matter what the scoring system is, as long as it makes a little sense (which this one does) Peyton is number one.

We adjust the Yahoo scoring every year to reflect their default settings this year. Last year was Vick's best year and he finished 4th or 5th. His scoring was still really volatile though.
