How many starters do you have a weekly basis?

Postby brdmaverick » Sun Jun 17, 2007 9:35 pm

How many starters do you typically have on a weekly basis?

My league currently has 9 but some of the owners have brought up the idea of a flex position.

Here is our starting lineup

QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
WR
TE
K
DEF

That is a good starting line-up. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the flex position. It is starting to grow on me, but I think it takes away from the draft.

Ours isn't very "traditional" but we all love it.

Flex (RB/WR/TE)

NO FRIGGIN' KICKERS! They are pointless IMHO.

Like I said, my league is fine with the setup. Good luck!

We start 1 QB, 2 RB's, 3 WR's (or 2 WR's and 1 TE), 1 K, and 1 Team Defense
I've toyed with the idea of using a flex spot, but as someone already alluded to, it does take away from the draft a little bit...plus, I like tradition and we've always had it like this. The other owners are a fickle bunch.

My setup lets the commish be more creative. I never use D and K anymore.

Definitely creative. I like to keep the roster requirements as close to what the requirements are for a real team. I've never seen a team employ 4 RB's in the backfield at one time...now that would be a tough draft. And you thought 2 RB's were hard to get! Why don't you use Defenses or kickers anymore? Kinda curious.
