FWP vs shaun alexander

im having trouble deciding whos 5th on my draft list. Who will have the better fantasy season out of these two?

For me, I'd go with Willie, I know most will probably tell you to go with SA. But personally, I think his injury is still bothering him, even though he says it's not.

It depends. Alexander will be the gamble, with the risk of this injury coming back or another one, but he has a higher ceiling than FWP. I would say definitely pick RB2 and RB3s that are more on the safe side, just in case. I currently have SA and FWP at 5 and 6 respectively in non-ppr leagues, because SA impressed me after he came back from the injury last season. I just hope that he can get back to the 1500/15 form that he was in all the way up until the record breaker in 2005.

If I had to choose between the 2 I'd take Parker. Alexander did not impress me last year even after the injury. He had 2 "Alexander type" games last year and te rest were pedestrian at best. I have to think he will continue to slow down or atleast not rebound to elite type status. He's not old yet but his offense didn't get any better did it? They lost Stevens and Jackson from their passing game. Steelers play in a tough division. It will be interesting to see how they adjust offensively without Cowher and Whis. I personally have Addai and Maroney ahead of them both. Until I see that the Colts will indeed favor 2 backs again or I see that the Pats don't think Maroney can't take the load, these guys are better picks than Parker and Alexander.

I'm a Steelers fan but I still think I'd take Alexander over Parker. The injury is a slight concern but I expect him to rebound fully and put up monster numbers yet again. I'm not worried about his performance last year.

wel if you are going off of ast year i would stil say alexander because Parker would look great one week and then look like straight garbage another week

I have both in 2 different leagues and they both scare me from a consistency point of view.

I would personally take Addai before either of them.

i would def take SA over parker. i think he will return to elite status.

in response to azrael....maroney over SA?? some people are a little too nuts over maroney. i keep saying this but i really hope there is someone in my league who takes maroney in the top 5 . i will laugh my head off.

For me personally I feel SA better days are behind him. Even prior to his imjury last season he was avergae @ best. Id take FWP over him, younger, faster, & the ne coach Tomlin wants to pass a lil more, so that should def open up the running game for Willie even more so.
