Opinions on Chester Taylor

What are the thougts of Chester Taylor?

He's been going late in the bucket of mock drafts I've done.

I could see him being the starter all season....but then I think...the vikings almost certainly will be nowehere near playoff contention, so Peterson may end up with a ton of carries by season's end. It's just a matter of what round you can get him. If you can get him much later than you expected him to go, I'd say he's worth a shot.

I expect him to play 2nd fiddle to AP by mid-season at the latest. He wore down severely at the end of last year and doesn't have the talent to compete with Peterson after Peterson gets acclimated to the offense. He'll still play a role, but he'll hold limited value thanks to his lack of touches and dearth of goal-line opportunities.

Exactly, Taylor at first while AP gets the NFL experience and the speed of the game down. Then by mid I fully expect AP to get the majority of the carries...too much of a playmaker to not have on the field/ball in hands. Plus they drafted the guy 7th overall....they will use him.

They usually can do OK when they're not getting all the carries and ADP wont be getting all the carries. I agere with the others that Taylor will be #2 by mid season (perhaps even earlier) because quite frankly, Peterson is just a better RB than Taylor is. I'd personally rather have Peterson than Taylor on my fantasy teams this year.

I've definitely noticed ADP go before C.T. in many of my drafts. I figured Taylor would get the goal line carries and ADP would get the some yardage carries.

ADP is certainly a more powerful runner than Taylor....I don't see any way that Taylor gets goal line carries over Peterson. Peterson is well known to have a "punishing" running style and will most likely be used in those situations.
