As good as AP is going to be one day. I don't think he will be a better fantasy back this year, than Chester will be. Bottomline,I'd take my chances on a proven player, before any rookie.

What exactly has Chester proven though? He's shown that he can be a mediocre fantasy player on an anemic offense with a limited ceiling. He's not going to get goal-line carries. Peterson, Richardson, and Fason/Pinner would be before him in that regard after Chester struggled at the stripe last year. I'd much rather gamble on the potential of Peterson than grab a player whose upside is that of an RB3.

I agree. Also, to those worring about the goal line carries, how often do you expect Minny to be at the goal line? Seriously. I expect Chester to lead the team in yards. TDs will be hard to come by for any of the team's RBs.

I echo what BlueBandit said....what has Taylor proven? That he can't handle the load very well prompting the Vikings to spend their first round pick on a RB? Peterson is a VERY talented RB, much moreso than Taylor...he's more powerful and he's still got that breakaway speed that will lead to some big plays. I don't think it'll take long for the talent of Peterson to shine through over Taylor.
