Leinart vs. Cutler

Leinart. When you are talking about stats, you are talking about offensive stats. Cards have more offensive weapons, more offensive weapons most likely will equal better overall stats.

Leinart has more weapons and a worse defense. He'll probably need to throw more passes and more TD's.

Can't add anything that hasn't been said, its Leinart. That said, Cutler shouldn't have too bad of a season either.

Last year's stats are pretty even, prorated for the number of games each guy played. The sample size for Cutler is really small (5 games) but he threw for two scores in four of those games. Not bad for a Rook playing his first five games. Leinart has younger WRs but they're not any more savvy than Smith and Walker. Plus Travis Henry behind that Denver Line is going to take a LOT of heat off Cutler.

I think both QBs have a tremendous upside this year, and I wouldn't feel bad about keeping either of them.

Yes the Cards have more weapons for Leinart but Cutler is a better QB IMO..A 1000 yards & 9 Td's in his last 5 games isn't too shaby. Cutler is def one of my sleepers this year & really like his game. Javon Walker & a good running game sure wont hurt either..

Just to play devil's advocate - Why not? His O-Line. Denver Line >>>>>>>>Arizona Line.

That balances out any advantage Fitz/Boldin have over Walker/Smith.

But like I said earlier, I think both will have fine years.

I agree with this. Denver's WRs are good and they have a much better o-line than Arizona. Cutler seemed to have a better rookie season, but played less games. Talent wise, Leinart is slightly better, but not by much. And of course, Leinart has the best or second best group of receivers in the NFL.

I think they're both about equal for this season, but because most people seem to think Leinart's better, then I'll rank him slightly higher.
