Honestly, it depends. I have been targeting Vernon Davis big time this year, so I will usually take him in the 8-10 round and then I will look at the later rounds for some value. I've been getting Eric Johnson with my last pick in all of my draft so far.

I've been targeting Cooley, and usually have to bite at no later than round 8 to land him. But I rarely will draft 2 TE's.

I will only draft more than 1 TE if there are good ones left and some guys are playing the "only x number of teams need a TE, I'll just wait and pick one up later" game. Last year I did that and ended up trading McMichael for Turner as insurance for LT.

I usually use the same principle as QBs. If it is a 12 team league I will generally take about the 10th to 12th TE off the board and then grab another one not too long afterwards. Then hope that one of them works out. Having two TEs in the 10-15 rank range is generally good enough.

I also use the same theory with my QBs and TEs...I haven't done too many drafts/mocks but in a recent auction I got KW3 and Heath Miller who are my 2,3 in terms of TE rankings this year for a combined $7 which is less than TEs such as Heap, Shockey, and obviously Gates went for (24). I try and grab those two, at least one of them, and then take a chance on one of the lower end TE's...Eric Johnson, L. Pope, Mercedes Lewis, Olsen, and Oak's new TE (can't think of his name )

I'll usually take a tight end in the 6th-8th round depending on the players available, and I'll take a sleeper tight end later on if there's one available. If there isn't, I'll just pick up a free agent the week of my starter's bye week.

No need to pick more then 1 and definately no need to reach for one either. I always have a sleeper TE in my mind that I use later in the draft. I used Winslow last year and it worked out great for me.

I usually try to grab Gates/Shock/Gonzo or Crump late 4 or 5. I like having at least 1 "stud" in each position. This year I may try to grab another early like 6,7 since we can play another TE in our flex. But usually I just tend to go with one "stud" and another backup with one of my last picks.
