is his injury enough to bench him at utility position to start Boston over him v. a weak Cleveland D?

excuse me. cleveland's D is not weak, by any means. that unit is turning out to be quite a surprise. let me back that #&*@ up:

7th in total yds/g allowed (281)
4th in pass yds/g allowed (162)
5th in pts/g allowed (15.8)

also, they have only allowed 4 receiving TDs and 3 rushing TDs so far. all this is including the monster game that jamal lewis had.

pretty impressive, especially considering they cut all their starting LBs last year and now have 3 completely new ones who are doing quite a bangup job.

I think anytime you have a decision between a RB and a WR at the flex position, you have to go with the RB, especially if he's the feature back. Gordon will get 20 touches at least, which makes him much more likely to have a good week than Boston, who's not guaranteed any touches.
