From an NFL standpoint, it's a really good situation for Minnesota, especially with a first time starter at QB... They can pound the ball 500 times this season, and do a lot with two good pass-catching backs to make Tavaris comfortable...
From a fantasy standpoint, it's just going to be inconsistent as hell... One guy will rack up 120 yards and TD one week, and it'll be the other guy the next week... With Peterson's injury history I don't see them making either guy the feature back at any point in '07... It also doesn't help that AD slipped as far as he did in the draft... If they were paying Peterson #1 draft pick sort of money I could see them phasing Chester out of the picture, but I don't think they are overpaying either guy and can probably afford to keep them both for years to come...
Hey, if I were a Minny fan, I would be happy with the possibilities of using them both. As a potential fantasy owner? Only if one slips to a great value pick....

It's a "fiasco" fantasy wise. For real life, that's a pretty good situation they got in Viking land.
I'm looking at All Day as my RB3 with HUGE upside.
ComeAtMeBro! - PPR QB: Stafford RB: Run DMC, SRidley, KMoreno, DMurray and BBrown WR: RWhite, DThomas, and CGivins TE: Hernandez and Gates K: Graham D/ST: Jets, DisChargers and 'Phins Start QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, Flex, K and D/ST

For teams that take a WR or QB in rounds 1 and 2... you could do worse than Peterson as a starting RB. If Taylor were to get hurt Peterson would be a HUGE steal.
