There will be something in your life that you'll never regret, and that's what you get a tattoo for. Or there will be something that you will always be, and you get a tattoo of that. I think that's why tattoos are intriguing they can really tell you about somebody.
Or, I guess people get ones that just look sweet, but those ones you might have regrets about, but you really only live once.
I was at a wedding last month and was surprised at the number of really tacky tatoos that many of the women had that really did not go well at all with fancy dresses and evening gowns - there were some nice ones, but they were in the minority. My oldest daughter was in the wedding party and even she agreed her tatoo was inappropriate for the way they were dressed and had to buy special makeup to cover her tatoo. A lot of tatoos that seem cool in one's youth often don't seem so as one ages. And a lot of them look downright terrible when ya get all old and wrinkly! That said, I'd still like to get a small Steelers' helmet tatoo someday 'cause they'll always be cool...and maybe a Wolverines' helmet while I'm at it!
