Asparagus is awesome! Yeah a LOT of people like asparagus...it's a huge cash crop here in the San Joaquin Valley.

What is the deal with the smell, though? I don't get that. It's the only vegetable that I'm aware of that affects your "output" so strongly, and man is it strong! Whatever it is that's in asparagus that makes it so pungent on the way out, I'm glad other veggies don't have it!

Interesting thing is that only about half of people actually break down the vegetable correctly to produce the smell. Even more interesting is that some people can't even smell the fumes even though it is produced. I think it has to do with the chemicals used to break the vegetable down combined with the chemicals in the asparagus.

Don't worry, the only reason I know this is because I looked it up, I swear.

By the way, this hasn't been updated since November, but I'd also like to mention that Chestnut won Wing Bowl XVI, which is a wing eating contest in Philly. He's won the contest the last 3 years, and broke his own record by eating 241 wings.

I'm not positive but yes I think they are hot wings.
