R. Moss v. Stallworth: Who's the better WR? (Fant & Actual)

We all know that both these guys are now Patriots, teamed up with Tom Brady and Laurence Maroney. We also know that both of these WRs have the ability to be a top #1 WR in the NFL at some point of their career (Fantasy & Actual.)

But who do you think will have a better year this season?

Recently, Randy Moss has struggled to put up any kind of numbers. Maybe he's getting old, maybe it's just his horrific supporting cast. Donte on the other hand, has been putting up solid numbers the last few seasons for his fantasy owners while playing with better NFL teams, (the Eagles and Saints).

I think it could be a toss up this year who will be the better WR (Fantasy/Actual). In my opinion this could be Randy Moss' breakout year again. In my eyes he is unquestionable a top 10 fantasy WR and has potential to be just as good in the actual NFL season.

On the other hand, I also beleive that Donte Stallworth (being their "#2" WR) will have a lot better matchups and a lot more big play potential.

In my opinion I would say that Donte Stallworth will be the better overall fantasy WR this season and will clearly be available much later than Randy Moss. On the other hand, if you need a #1/2 WR in the 5th round or so, don't hesitate to grab Randy because his upside is big this year and everybody knows he may return to his old ways... OR NOT? lol.

can you think of any cases where the no. 2 WR on a team was the no. 1 fantasy WR? Maybe Peerless Price and Eric Moulds way back... T.J. Housh and Chad Johnson is close also.

It's possible that Stallworth is better value, but no way is he better overall.

Stallworth's not better. And he wasn't consistent when he did play. It's just he could break a game open, or occasioanlly explode. But when moss applies himself, this isn't a question. When Moss doesn't apply himself, he's still better.

Moss has had some injury problems these last couple of years if I remember correctly. Maybe just becasuse he didnt want to play in Oak though.

Gotto go with Moss here. Both have risk issues, injury for Mrs Stallworth, and Candy has her own attitudes problems. So if I am going to gamble on either I will go with the guy who could blow up big time: Randy Moss. Still too much talent not to salivate over the numbers he could put up if he stays on task.

I think it was more of him not wanting to play in Oakland. Seriously I think the Vikings broke his heart by trading him, but I think that just might be me.

I think you need to consider value also, Moss in the 5th versus Stallworth however many rounds later. I would probably feel better about my overall team with stallworth as my WR3 than if I have Moss as my WR1.
