I'm looking to join a first year money Franchise League

A Franchise League is the only type of league that I'm interested in joining... let me know if you have one starting up.

and... I have spots open in a 16-team redraft league in its 8th season and spot open in a new 12-team dynasty league if anyone is interested in joining.

I got a spot left in a dynasty league, auction draft, contracts, salary cap, etc. If you're dedicated and active, let me know. I only want an active owner thats not gonna back out next year on me.

Yes I did read your post, why would I write something otherwise. What is a "Franchise" League? I am obviously misinformed as to what it is as I believed a Dynasty League was a "Franchise" league, but I am incorrect apparently. I appreciate your kind response.

An actual Franchise League is not very common. Basically, you get as many owners as there are teams in the NFL and distribute one NFL team to each owner randomly, or you create a random "draft order" and each owner chooses their team. Each NFL team can only be used once. Then you can begin trading players. Each year you get that team's draft picks. Roster size is set smaller than the actual NFL roster of course.

In a pinch you can make a 16 team league and give each owner 2 NFL teams.

I may be interested depending on the cost. Just so I understand this correctly.
16 owners have a two round draft in which each owner will end up with 2 NFL teams. You then field your fantasy team from those 2 nfl teams and can also trade players like a regular league.

correct. and the following years you do absolutely no drafting. you get the draft picks that your two NFL teams make each year, or you can of course trade off those picks.

players that are free agents in the fantasy league will be able to be added/dropped year round (minus fantasy playoffs).

i thinking the cost would be pretty low. probably $30 a season and all new owners must put down a 50% year two depoist ($15) to ensure they come back, or in case an owner bails and the league has to sell a crappy team at a deep discount price.

i think this would be really fun. i hope they are more interested owners.
