I thought I would set up this post to share ideas about the best way to manage a keeper league. My league would like to do one this year and i've been doing some research as to the best league hosts and rules. I have never been involved with a keeper league, but it sounds like a lot of fun and it adds another dimension to fantasy FB.
The concensus seems to be that AOL is the best host for free leagues, though it has its negative side (difficult layout, or so I've heard and live scoring leaves something to be desired).
What is the best host for a free keeper league?
A pay keeper league?
Also, what are the best rules for managing a keeper league as far as keeping players?
I would like to do something like keep 3 players and a rookie, but they all have to have been drafted after the 3rd round.
Or you can keep 1 player from rounds 1-3, and 2 more players from any round after that.
What are some thoughts from guys who have experience in keeper leagues? All opinions are appreciated.
