Colts Sign Freeney To 6-Year Contract

I'll try to find a link, but John Clayton of ESPN reported on ESPN that the Indianapolis Colts signed DE Dwight Freeney to a record 6-year, $72 million deal. It's the largest contract ever for a defensive player in NFL history.

Wow, looks like the Colts can dish out big paychecks on D too, lol. Still he is worth a lot, but wow that much, man. He better be sacking a lot next year Good choice keeping him though.
