YES!!!! The starving city of Philadelphia finally has a victorious number one team to root for!!!! For once, the Philadelphia Phillies are the best!!!!! They have done the unthinkable and in their 125 years of franchise history, have set a record that spans ALL sports. They are the first team EVER to have 10,000 losses. yay. I really don't care much for this, but here's a few things about this milestone that is worth noting.

There isn't any other sport other than baseball that a team could possibly have 10,000 losses at this point. Plus, half the teams in the MLB weren't founded 100 years ago. So, we're the worst of what, 15 teams? So what. I saw a stat on Sportcenter today showing the worst teams of each major sport. The Arizona Cardinals had a winning percentage of .408, and I think the Phillies were around .461? I understand that the Cardinals don't have such a milestone and played far less games, but percentage wise, we're not the worst team in sports.
