It is sad that people can get that big, but I also look at it that he was out doing some recreational activity, which is a start, how many 500 pound people would even get out of bed, let alone go rafting

I think it's great that someone that big went outside and did something. He could have just stayed home and watched TV like he done every day for the last decade. ;-7
