10 team playoffs

Just curious........how many teams in a 10 team league would you have making the playoffs? i was thinking 4.......but wasn't sure.

It depends. A lot here at the cafe will tend to vote 4, but my leagues have had 6. The 2 division winners receive a bye and the 2nd/3rd place teams play to face the division winner.

I've always used 4.
6 seems like too many to me.

I play in a 10 team league and we let 6 teams make the playoffs that start in week 14. We are divided into divisions so the division winners get a bye for the playoffs in week 14, we're done in week 16. If you don't use divisions then the top 2 teams get a bye. We let the 4 teams that don't make the playoffs have a seperate tournament.
