College? Blech! At least half those players if not more are playing without 'assistance'. What fun is that when the 330 pound lineman is actually SLOW?!? Pshaw. I like my 330 pounders to run 4.5 40's and bench pickup trucks.
You really need to watch the upcoming Cal and Tenn. game in a few weeks then if that is your thoughts on college football.
They're all on the juice??? Count me in!
Seriously, while everything you said about the college game is true I've got two big beefs. Number one is that a lot of these guys really are college athletes. They're good enough to make the college team but they're not nearly at the level at which the pro's play. My second beef is the entire college football structure. I hate the ranking system and the bowl season's structure. No, I don't have a better solution. That doesn't make it any more interesting to me. I'll think about watching a game but unless you're paying really close attention or it's a very significant matchup you don't have any idea what that game really means.
This is coming from a guy who's wife is a HUGE WVU fan so any time they're televised it's must-see-tv. And I'm from right around Columbus, OH so we actually get kicked out of the state if we don't watch the Ohio State/Michigan games every year. But for me, nothing beats a pro game (unless it's a Browns game...then I can live without it
