A guy walks in to a bar, sits down and orders a triple bourbon.

Bartender gives it to him, guy slams it, orders another.

Guy slams the second triple bourbon.

Bartender says 'wow, something wrong, pal?'

Guy says 'yeah, I caught my wife and best friend in bed together.'

Bartender "oh geez.. sorry. What'd you do?'

Guy: 'I told my wife to pack her bags and get out.'

Bartender: 'and your best friend?'

'I looked him right in the eye and said "BAD DOG!"'

The one absolutely unselfish friend that humans can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts them, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous is their dog.
~George Graham Vest, Senator of Missouri, 1855

Welcome back Cafe. Like some may know, after leaving unexpectedly I'm back for good... No more Uganda for me... for a while ;-D

Well I'm trying to get more connected back in the Cafe as I get more time at home or at work wasting time on the computer :-D ... gotta love that. Soo check out my new husky I just got. I know it's torture to have a husky in Texas but he's a baller. My fiance wants a Great Pyrrenese-Sheep dog mix now. (yea I know... she's crazy :-S )

Check it Cafe-ers!

It's Rowdy!!

Welcome back and nice dog. ;-D

For what it's worth, I grew up in Alaska where we have a lot of Huskys. Up in the interior of Alaska in the summer it gets 90-100 and the thick fur acts as an insulator that keeps the dog cool. They adapt very well to extreme temperatures.

Yea, it does? It just seems cruel here in Texas... it's 100 for months at a time. Pretty much a week ago until about mid-September. Fun times... Rowdy sheds a ton. But the only thing he really seems to get annoyed by is thunderstorms. I got a scaredy dog ;-)

Well... 100 is the record. :-B

But up in the Fairbanks area is will hit 90 regularly. People forget the midnight sun and the fact that during the summer, Alaska is very close to the sun for a very long time.

True. Just never thought about it like that. Thanks for the info man! Learn something new... time to go try and fix my shoes Rowdy has seemed to become married to or something. He's a bit rough... even for a 10 lb. hair ball :-D
