Biggest disappointment among recievers, Troy Brown

Postby Mortiis » Sat Oct 18, 2003 10:53 pm

I would really like to know what happened to the Patriots' passing game. I've been starting Troy Brown for six weeks now, baffled at the back and forth average - non existent performances. I wouldn't be so confused were another reciever getting more looks, etc. I notice the ball being spread out amongst trash like Deion Branch, David Patten, Givens, etc - however I see little to no production in these receivers either. Perhaps Brady is being pressured too much due to an offensive line meltdown...though I'd like some answers.

Has Brady lost his Super Bowl confidence in Brown? Is he dropping balls? Is he too old? Is there any chance of a revival?

Due to last weeks repeat performance of 1 reception for under ten yards AGAIN, Troy Brown is getting backhand slapped to my bench.

I know he was complaining for lack of balls being thrown his way. What gives?

The disappointment here is that to be disappointed in Troy Brown as a starting receiver on your fantasy squad, you had to have some faith in him to begin with.....

David Patten was my pick to be the #1 WR from New England this year. I don't know why some people were high on Troy Brown, he's about 50 years old and never did anything great in his career up to this point. All New England WRs are waiver wire material.

Biggest Dissappointment of the year:

Peerless Price!!

The man had lofty, if not sky-high expectations to boost the receiver corps for Atlanta.

Then Mike Vick went down.....

down....

down....

plagued by injury

Now that's dissappointment

Donte Stallworth has been a huge disappointment so far this year. And I have to start him today, ugh!

i tend to stay away from recievers from teams like NE and Cleveland where one of about4 recievers usually has a good game and you will never know who its gonna be.
