Yardage benchmarks - suggestions?

I don't recall this before, but Yahoo has it so you can set bonus pts for certain yardage achievements. I want to use them, but not make them too easy to get, or too hard to get.

Currently:

QB: 5 pts at 375 yds pass
RB: 5 pts at 175 yds rush
WR; 5 pts at 175 yds receiving

I never liked these...why should a receiver who gets 175 yards receiving get 5 more points than a receiver who gets 174 yds? It's a quirky system that throws off the balance. Obviously, to each his own, but it isn't my cup of tea.

I don't like them either. If a player puts up these numbers, it is likely they are going to score huge anyway, so the team shouldn't need any extra bonus points.

Those are pretty tough benchmarks though and wouldn't be reached very often. I looked back at most of the players and this is what I found
QBs and 375 was reached only 6 times all year long. Brees (4), Manning (1) and Bulger (1)
Running backs reached 175 seven times: Lt (3), Parker (2), Gore(1) and SS (1)
WR reached 175 five times: Chad Johnson (2), SSmith (1) , Lee Evans (1) and Driver (1)

I'm giving 1pt for a 300yd pass or 100 rush/rec game, just to upset the applecart a little and make for some more action on Sunday, but 5 points seems very extreme to me.
