I'm so tired of hearing about Vick, his name even comes up in completely un-related news. I don't know why every analyst can't go 10 minutes without involuntarily spewing that name out. Its annoying...

Haha, you know somebody is going to waste a high draft pick (for Priest, anything higher than round 12 is too high) on him now.

Seriously though, somone need to tell him that it's just not safe anymore. Of course, the Chiefs brass must love this as it's got to grind into Larry Johnson's head that it's possible he could be replaced if he doesn't hurry up and come back. At the very least, it's a great bluff by Kansas City.

is it possible for priest to come back and make an impact? would he be the 3rd rb on the chiefs? IF his injury is fully healed, then he has taken a hit for 2 years. could he have worth.

According to NFL Live, he was examined by two orthopedic specialists and "passed with flying colors".

Assuming he's physically capable of playing, he represents a substantial upgrade over Michael Bennett if LJ's holdout continues into the season, or if LJ is traded.

I don't know that I'd call a 33 Year Old Back who hasn't played in 2 years a "substantial" upgrade over Bennett.

Even if Holmes actually *makes the team* I don't think he'd be in line for anything other than depth. Seriously, I think Kolby Smith would still have the upper hand if the LJ holdout really became a big deal.

A tidbit I just discovered: Yahoo doesn't have Holmes in its available players.

(Don't worry, I wasn't going to drop anyone important for him.)

If he can do anything other than run fast in a straight line, he's a signifcant upgrade over Bennett. :-b
