It all depends. I say pick something you like, weave it into a clever or scarey nickname and go with it. Some examples from my leagues:

Palmer's Posse (Bengals fan)
Packersmachers (Probably a Bears fan)
Wartigers (Auburn grad)
Jolly Green Giants (not my team but I love the name!)
Benchwarmers
The Nut House

Or you could go with something really current like "Vick's Dawgs" or "Hillary's Clevage" if you are into politics.

I'm a fan of innuendo/bizarre team names, examples...Fancy Lads, Hairy Beanbags, Hillbilly Kickboxers, Cunning Linguists, Shriveled Sac of Palmeiro, Pleasure Boaters, Little Lebowski Urban Achievers, Buster Hymen and the Tongue Darts, Ditka's Malfunctioning Member, Chief Bukake and the Snowballers, Fudge Mountain, The Mustangs, Betty Ford All-Stars and and a few of my all time favorites...Frank Booth and the Candy Colored Clowns, and The Stimulated Genitals of Janet Reno.
