Vikings Training Camp Update

Postby treat24 » Wed Aug 01, 2007 4:49 pm

Hey Guys!

A Bunch of Pictures in the following posts

Raff and I were at camp today 8/1 Here's what I/We noticed today:

Chester Taylor: was not there, was not even there in plain clothes... completely gone from camp today...

Bobby Wade: Horrible footwork, short armed a couple passes. Couple nice grabs from behind on poor passes though.

Sidney Rice: was disciplined for something we missed, I'll show a pic later... had to run laps. EXCELLENT sideline footwork. Great at tightroping the sideline. Looked okay today.

Adrian Peterson: how come nobody warned me the guy is a nice receiver? He didn't drop one ball. He caught in traffic, dodged, weaved, ridiculous... very nice work today.

Tarvaris Jackson: not impressed. looked lazy like a guy who didn't worry about losing his job. overthrew quite a few plays... poor performance today

Mewelde Moore: looked very nice catching the ball and squirming.

Artoooooooose Pinner: caught a few balls, bobbled one up that EJ Henderson grabbed and returned.

Williamson: looked good for most of the day, unfortunately the first pass we saw bounced right off his chest and we couldn't help but shake our heads.

i'm drunk and raff and I are heading to the strip club for a bit... i'll post more later...

a side note... not ONE deep pass was caught due to poor WR play OR poor passing. so it goes...

Peterson looked unbelievably good though. I was shocked at how well he catches the ball...

It was hot and muggy. Sucks to be them.

Williamson dropping the first pass and watching Rice doing his lazy run to the goal post for screwing up was odd.

Training camp is well run, but it is really slow at times. Lots of standing around and Chilly keeps the main action a couple of fields down. :-t

Nice pics Treat. We'll have to get a few more out there.

It looks like Ray Edwards is entrenched as the starting at right defensive end, at least until James is healthy and proves he can be an effective edge rusher.

Williamson penciled in as the # 2 guy behind the explosive and legendary Bobby Wade.

I just noticed that Sidney Rice is a few months younger than I am. I really feel pathetic. 8-o :-o :-b
