I need help!

As a fantasy baseball player I dont really have much time to learn everything whats happend in football in the offseason.
Especially IDPs are hard to figure out.
Usually I start to collect info in august, when Im sitting in baseball comfortably somwhere atop, and I still have 3 weeks till my drafts so I started checking out IDP's using Yahoo, NFL.com, FOX and Cafe.
I have some questions.


1. The first team I checked got me a little confused. Arizona.
On Yahoo Calvin Pace is listed at WLB, while Dansby is at SLB.
On FOX is the same, but on NFL.com they both play SLB and O. Huff is listed as WLB.
As much as I know WLBs scoring much more points then SLBs.
Now here everybody talks about Dansby.
What about Pace?


2. And in Baltimore Bart Scott was scoring a lot of points last year but it seems like a guy called Jarret Johnson is playing WLB.
Anyone could give an info on that?


3. Is NFL.com a reliable source at all?
According to them, DJ Williams plays SLB in Denver while the other say he is MLB.
And Detroit's E. Sims is listed at WLB on Yahoo and FOX but he is a SLB on NFL.com. while Boss Baley is the WLB.


4. Is this Nick Greisen guy in Jax worth to consider?

5. What you think about Donnie Edwards move to KC?
And what about Napoleon Harris as a MLB?

my league setup: 12 teams 3 LB and 3 DB spots plus some bench if necessery

D.J. Williams is in the middle in denver... Ernie Simms is on the weak side and should have a tremendous IDP season.

1-Orlando Huff plays for Atlanta now,so don't go by thAt Site.
Calvin Pace is going to play DE/S because Bertrand Berry (DE)(inj is listed as injured right now.
And I much rather have Berry(if healthy) or Chike Okeafor (S/DE),on my team then Pace.

5-I'm not drafting either this year.

Thanks for this site. It's pretty good and they have their own forum for IDP. Something I think the cafe should have. Maybe there is not much interest in IDP or I can't find the forum.

What about Bob?..........Sanders. Pound for pound the best player in the NFL. He will get his share of tackles, Sacks, and picks. He is tiny, but packs a wallop ,and may be the biggest hitter, as well as the fastest man in football. I'll admit, I'm a huge Iowa Hawkeye fan, and now a Colts fan thanks to Bob and Dallas being there. Bob only played the last 4 games of the regular season for the Colts, but when he came back, the Colts D was a whole new team. You all saw what he did in the Superbowl. If this guy can stay healthy I think he could be big.

P.S. I drafted Shawne Merriman in my first ever IDP league. It is sack heavy I believe so i think it is a good pick. Only .25 for assists and .5 for solo tackles though so his lack of tackles shouldn't hurt too much. IDPs are way low scorers though, the highest scoring IDP put up only 120 pts last year.

I drafted Shawne Merriman in my first ever IDP league. It is sack heavy I believe so i think it is a good pick. Only .25 for assists and .5 for solo tackles though so his lack of tackles shouldn't hurt too much. IDPs are way low scorers though, the highest scoring IDP put up only 120 pts last year.

I think that a league that has IDP as important as offensive players would be fun. But I like Defensive football, itas why I liked the Warren Sapp, Simeon Rice, Derrick Brooks, Rhonde Barber, John Lynch era Bucs (though Alstott was my favorite player). Now I like the Colts just because of a couple of my favorite former Hawkeyes. I don't think there are too many people that would want to play in a league like that though. It takes a lot of thought to draft well in that league, and gets a little too complicated, but I think it throws a whole new dimension into the game, one that I do like.
