Here's the scoring:

6 pts. all TDs! (passing included)
1 pt. 20 pass
1 pt. 10 rush/receive

All Defense Same:
1 pt. tackle
2 pt. two point conversion (passing, rushing, receiving)
2 pt. forced fumble
2 pt. fumble recovery
2 pt. INT

This is a new league that I'm getting into. Big time league here. I've never done IDP before, so it'll be new to me and I'm sure a few others. So, by the scoring standards here, I assume you have QB's at a premium? Where do you draft them? Looking at the stats for IDPs I see that LB has the best scoring odds. Where do you start to draft IDP? Rnd 7-8? Need some help!

By the way, this league only has 17 total position spots at the drafter's choosing! ;-D

So, I could have 17 QBs if I wanted.....LOL! But seriously, here's the starting lineup weekly that I forgot: 1-QB 2-RB 2WR/TE 1-K 3-IDP

The IDP's should start coming off earlier, but I'd wait until I at least had all my offensive starting positions filled. So anywhere from rounds 6-8 with your starting requirements. Very good IDP's are much easier to find compared to RB's & WR's, etc. As far as QB goes. I'd try to grab one of the top 6-7 QB's since passing TD's are 6 points. But I'd pass on Manning because drafting him early makes it hard to catch up on the RB's & WR's. I'd try to grab one of Palmer, Brees, Bulger, Brady, McNabb, Kitna. You can go RB & WR early and still get one of those 6 as your starting QB. Good luck! ;-D

Thanks for the reply flotsam. Yeah, since QBs get 6 for TDs, I definitely will be looking for one in say round 3-4. Hopefully there isn't some crazy run and they are all gone. Was looking at IDPs too and looks that LBs have the greatest scoring ability, followed by DBs. So, what I'll do is group all 100+ point players, then 90+ and so on.

That's what I was thinking too webdawg51. Not too complicated, and points are awarded abound. Premium on the QB though. So, just have to figure in where to grab that position at. Then the IDPs.
