Got to see 755 and 756 live. Quite the moments I will say that. Steroids or not Bonds is one heck of a ball player. Records are made to be broken and just think, A-Rod will be there in 5 or 6 years barring injury so we can do this all over again in half a decade. Yay!
Similar to Knapp, I followed all of Bonds' at bats on tv so that I could witness that one magnificient moment of history that will no doubt become more monumental with the passing of each day.
During the game that Bonds hit his 756th home run, I managed to catch his first two at bats before retiring to bed. I guess that I figured he wouldn't hit a homer due to the abundance of non-homer games that were seared into my memory. Anyway, I layed myself down, covered up, and dozed off, hoping that Bonds wouldn't break the record that night.
I remember waking up and just lying there in bed for a few minutes, reluctantly considering turning on my telelvision, as I knew what I would probably see. To make a long story short, (maybe I should have taken that approach before I wrote all of this) I turned on the tube and saw the story of his record breaking feat all over ESPN.

Yep. I am not in the "Barry Bonds corner" at all, but I do give him his props for his skill. I don't have to like the man, or respect the choices he's made, to appreciate the skill he has.
Barring EVERYTHING ELSE, Barry Bonds has mad skills.
