I'd def drop 5 guys down from last season's rank -- LJ, Parker, Betts, C Taylor, Lewis.
My top 15 for 2007, as of 8/12, will look like this....
1. LT (Duh) 2. Sjax (Beast) 3. Gore (Mini beast in a weak division) 4. Westbrook (Forget McNabb, Westbrook IS the Philly offense) 5. Alexander (No longer on the cover of Madden) 6. Henry (Mike Shanahan personal vendetta to get back at all the fantasy owners who say he is the devil) 7. Deuce (Up two spots from last year (-Tiki)...expecting Bush to miss a game or two) 8. Parker (Not quite as good as last year but still a force) 9. MJD (Human bowling ball keeps on striking) 10. Rudi (More of the same...YAWN!) 11. Addai (Colts terrible, terrible defense will take away time of possession from the offense) 12. Th Jones (A rather safe pick here) 13. M Barber (The better back in Big D...will get his TDs and increased yardage) 14. Benson (Not a ton of yards but will put up huge TD numbers) 15. Betts (down goes Portis...again!)
OUT - LJ (Will sign with KC and then pull a groin in warmups for his first game back)

dropping addai out of the top 10 is unheard of...The colts will still be putting up 35 a week
MJD @ 9 is a big reach as well...Jax has an easy schedule, but that backfield is a mystery still
Oh, people can come up with statistics to prove anything, Kent. Fourty percent of people know that.

Yeah. A year ago, a lot of people said Lamont Jordan and Cadillac Williams were locks as top ten backs. That didn't work out so well.

Very true...
After responding the first time, I did think more on your Addai comments...So I started a new thread to collect thoughts...you might be on to something, but I wouldnt drop him out of the top 6

Meh... too much love for Bush in the top 15. Awesome player, but RBBC = meh. The best thing about Bush is that your FF friends who subscribe to their FF magazines will be drafting him way higher than his output will justify, and most of us will benefit from that (IMO... don't take it personally if you disagree.)
My 15 is mega standard, vanilla... no surprises:
1). LT 2). SJax 3). LJ (he'll play.) 4). SA (he'll bounce back) 5). Gore (yes, I was impressed last year. 6). Willie (he could be anywhere from 5-9, IMO) 7). BWEST (meh... I think I'm going back to Westy, which does admittedly suck. He's definitely top 10, either way) 8). Addai (I don't expect top 5 out of Addai.) 9). Maroney (Like Cedric, like Portis, like... so many... this depends on health. I'd be okay with taking him at 9th best) 10). Rudi (not going to blow the doors off, and not going to hurt you.) 11). Cedric the Entertainer (going to be low 'cause he kills, or WAY high when he's injured and out for a long time. What can you do...) 12). Ronnie Brown (could end up taken later than he should be this year) 13). Travis Henry (erase him from the list entirely if it becomes clear that he's going to be typical Denver RBBC) 14). Caddy (insert Jacobs if he ends up being the full time starter) 15). Willis (I like this possibility.)
Thomas Jones could end up in the bottom 5 of that list, too. Just not sure about the whole J-E-T-S thing.
I think Travis Henry will be the featured back all year in Denver and we are looking at the new Terrell Davis.
my list: sdg - LaDainian Tomlinson stl - Steven Jackson sea - Shawn Alexander sfo - Frank Gore kan - Larry Johnson - hold out?? den - Travis Henry phi - Brian Westbrook pit - Willie Parker ind - Joseph Addai cin - Rudi Johnson
