Before the injury last season I had him as number 4 on my cheat sheet. I don't see how that's dropping

Exactly, IMO people are making too big a deal out of a broken hand one season, that is the only injury that caused him to miss any regular season time.

I'm avoiding him as much as possible, I hear he still isn't healthy (John Clayton) and Betts is pretty good!!

He also does have tendonitis in his knee which is requiring him to see Dr. James Andrews of all people. I think the tendonitis tripled with the hand and shoulder injury last season, and the fact that Ladell Betts is a more-than-capable backup RB are causing Portis' value to slip.
