Utah Miners trapped

So what is the latest? They still haven't confirmed that there are any of the trapped miners still living have they? It's a sad story and its not sounding very possible that there will be a good outcome.

No and from what I just heard on the news they're are contemplating calling off the search all together. They're afraid that it's just too dangerous for rescue workers to be down there. And sadly I'd have to agree. I know those trapped miners families must be going through hell right now but when rescue workers start getting killed its kind of counterproductive. And to look at it realistically those miners have been down there for what 12 days? With no food, wearing very thin work clothing and in pitch black...I dunno if they have fresh water or not but man thats a long time for these guys...some of which may have sustained serious injuries during the cave in. Miracles happen everyday but it's starting to look pretty grim.
