Swiper Draft Central.

Checking in from BBQ land. Got the butts ready. 3 of em. The one and only local Draft starts at 7pm tomorrow. Poker night to follow promptly at 9:30. The official bender began at 5pm tonight. Likely to commence around 2am Sunday morning. The fridge is stocked. 7.5 cases of beer. By my conservative estimates that will equal about 6.25 cases come draft time. Maybe. Should be solid for a 4 team league. Hehe. Kidding. 12 teamer.

Figured we needed a commemorative thread to celebrate the occasion.

3 four and a half lb pork butts will be put in the smoker some time soon. To wet your appetites, here is what they look like. They've now been marinating for 31 hours.

They will end up being pulled pork with the assortment of anywhere from 3-7 bbq sauces, all of which are homemade. Well, I might sneak a couple in there...But I plan on doing at least 4-5 of them myself. Will depend on how many sauces I want to pawn off from the fridge.

As far as drafting Barry Sanders....I'll be ok. I think I can wing it in this crowd. Even if I take that flier on Barry. Maybe Priest in the 4th. I will be stellar.
