I think it was haha. I have seen him use that rub on a few things, can't recall for sure if it was that episode or not though. He's used it on Boy Meets Grill too. That guy that injected it with that marinate man. I bet that stuff was good.
The rub is pretty good. I did 2 butts for the ladies bunko party the other night. It was good, just not as good as the other 3 last week. I think the weather/humidity screwed with my heat a bit in the smoker...not to mention the hickory really did a sweeter flavor than the pecan did. I wanted to see the difference, and I definitely did. I am becoming a much bigger fan of hickory lately.
Doing jalepenos and fajitas in there today. May as well keep the streak going. I am shocked to see that not only is 200 going to happen this year on the grillometer, but 300 is actually becoming a viable target. Although 2 long trips this year away are going to make that a lot tougher.
