When I type something out, several of the letters, and often the space bar, don't work so I end up having to proof read and go back and fill in all the missing letters by hitting them harder. What to do - should I take the keyboard apart and attempt to clean it myself (prob full of crumbs, lol); get it professionally cleaned; or write it off as fubar'd and get a new one??? Thanks in advance for helping the technologically handicapped!!!

just get a new one, they aren't that pricey, plus we can't have you with a failed keyboard for our BBKL draft.
I'd try cleaning it first before buying a new one. It's not too hard, just unscrew it and then shake out all the junk in there. Then use compressed air to blow out anything else that refused to fall out. Biggest annoyance though, is the sticky stuff. And no, I'm not going to speculate on where the sticky stuff came from. Might have to wash that stuff off, but remember to remove any circuit boards or electronic stuff that might be inside before dunking it in water.
If it still don't work, about $10 should get you a new one.

I knew I overpaid when I ordered my last one for $1,500.
I feel guilty for it, but I want one of those.
Yeh, I'm thinkin' I should look into that for only $1,500 - that Cyrillic alphabet would really come in handy for all the Bulgarian fantasy football leagues I'm in!!!
