Devery Henderson is leading the league in drops with 4. TO did have some problems last year with a pin in his hand but I dont expect a repeat of that. Anyway it has nothing to do with Crayton.

I really like him as a player and Dallas is certainly gonna move the ball and spread it all over the place. He may be a decent spot starter and hope he gets a TD the week you need him to play.

Not to knock him, as he's a real beast, but with TO dropping a lot and the ever looming threat of an injury to an aging receiver, along with the fact that Glenn is chewed up and not playing for the foreseeable future, Crayton is in a unique spot as the only #3 WR I know of who both has talent, and is one injury away from being a #1 guy on a team that loves to throw. That earns him bench priority.

It's funny to think that the Cowboys are one TO problem away from having their vaunted passing game POOF into thin air. :)

Don't forget about Witten either. He is the #2 receiver in Dallas right now by far and away.

Passing targets for Dallas players:

TO - 17
Witten - 12
Barber/JJ - 8
Crayton - 6
Hurd - 5

Hurd has 3 catches for 69 yards and 1 TD
Crayton has 3 catches for 51 yards and no TD's

So Crayton isn't a bad pickup (and I have him on a team as well) but at the same time, he is still the #3 target on that offense with some decent receiving RB's and a young potentially breakout WR behind him taking some looks away.

Yep, ive made about a million post trying to tell people thinking about crayton to keep their eye on Hurd first as a very deep sleeper, think of what terry glenn did last yr as the #2, Hurd will play more outside with crayton in the slot getting alot of first downs, but Hurd will get the longer pass plays and probably a few more tds at seasons end...and week your struggling for wr depth hurd isnt a bad gamble
