what is fractional point: yes (in yahoo league)?
and what is negative point: yes?

Fractional points mean a guy can get percentages of a point for yards gained. In this league, where 20 rushing yards are a point, if a guy runs for 10 yards you'll get an extra .5. That's as opposed to no fractional points, where you wouldn't get that half point, and it'd round down to the whole number.

Negative Points just mean a guy can actually take points away from your team. It's pretty rare, but if a QB throws a coupla picks and loses a fumble or two (a la Grossman a few times last year) those subtractions can outweigh the points he'll earn and can cost your team points. Not to pick on Bears QB's (ok I'm picking on them I'm a vikings fan) but a friend started Orton against me a few years back and he ended up negative. I joked how he'd have been better off starting nobody. Quite glorious.
