In new keepers/dynastys would you build around Peyton or Pal

4 years separates Peyton from Palmer. Peyton has been uber consistent and 31 is not that old, however Palmer has been the only QB to outscore Peyton in a fantasy season for the last few years. If you had the opportunity to build around either of these guys as a franchise is there a real obvious choice here is it a matter of personal preference?

I would take Palmer

Manning is fantastic, and you can't go wrong with having him, even locking him up for 5 years. He is a rock, is not injury prone, and is the model of consitency. However, his receivers are not what they used to be. Harrison will not the around much longer, and besides Wayne, he doesn't have anyone else to throw too.

Palmer has CJ, Houz, and Henry (when he can play) all of these guys are going to be around for awhile yet, and should give Palmer the edge.

So they didn't just take a WR with their first draft pick? :-? Anthony Gonzalez will be a great NFL receiver for many years...Also, ever heard of Dallas Clark? You know, the Colts leader receiving yards in last year's postseason. Not to mention, Addai is about 2000x better as a receiving back than Rudi is...

Fair enough

However, I would argue that CJ/Houz/Henry > Wayne/Your rookie/Clark

I would still take Palmer, but like I said, I wouldn't be all bent if I had Manning instead

Me too, I wonder where/if this guy is picking in a draft or if this is just a hypothetical question. :-?

What you build around depends on the scoring system.
