Draft Preparation

Postby mthomas720 » Thu Aug 16, 2007 10:34 pm

OK, my draft is Saturday (Aug 18), and I think I'm ready, I'm just wondering if you guys can think of anything I'm missing. I have my Excel sheets of rankings by position, my blank grid to record my picks, a "draft tracker" to keep track of positions that other teams draft, list of NFL bye weeks, league settings, pens, highlighters and clipboard. Anything else?

Make sure you have ADP numbers as well, add them to your cheat sheet if they're not already there.

Oh, and make sure you have ample food and drink :-D

Good idea, I hadn't thought of ADPs. Should I get them for all the rounds or just like the first 5, or what?

I'd get them for all the rounds. It's especially helpful in the middle rounds, 6-10.

The morning of the draft, I will print out a depth chart and an injury report, I rarely use it, but it is nice to have.

Print out a few old cheatsheets from like 3 years ago and strategically place them around the draft room just to mess with people

;-D ;-D ;-D Also dont forget to have bye weeks listed next to all your ranked players. Its never good when your the guy saying "sweet... I got TO, Larry Fitz, and Mark Clayton!" Only to find out later that they all have a week 8 bye!
