Matt Schaub?

I was just wondering if the idea of him being a better than decent fantasy pick this year is sound or crazy as all outside.....

My thinking is that their Rb situation is a lot more stable with A Green and R Dayne; and if the O-line has improved significantly enough then the offense will improve in all facets. I know Schaub had only a few appearance with Atl, its not totally crazy to think he could do as well in Hou. Hou Qbs only had 14 TDs last year, but if Hou has to comeback in even half there games it makes sense that they will be airing it out quite a bit, and I don't know how objective I'm being but Schuab right now looks better than D Carr and S Rosenfals. So here and there I see Schaub putting up some nice numbers, so taking him in the late rounds could be a good move......What say you?

Schaub is a guy I am targeting as my QB2 in most drafts... He can be had extremely late, and I like his upside...

Very wishful. This guy really hasn't done anything in the NFL to really warrant picking him up. Plus he is on Houston and it doesn't help that they just blow. I'd rather have Alex Smith.

The reports out of HOU that I have seen indicate that the OL has been struggling with injuries, which is not a good sign when they are trying to develop cohesiveness, and with the starting LT out for 6+ games in the regular season, Schaub will be vulnerable from his blindside....this does not sound like a recipe for 1st-year starter success to me!

He's somewhere in that Trent Green, Rex Grossman tier for me. In normal-sized leagues, I'd say he's somewhere between a decent QB3 and the WW. He has some upside, but also lots of question marks.
